Obituary
Charlotte S. (Aspden) Proulx died peacefully under the care and comfort of her children, Michelle (Vincent) Smith, Muriel (John) Gilfoil, Renee (Craig) Pierce, Robert (Diane) Proulx, and Norman (Pam) Proulx, Paul and Linda Miskin, 14 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jean and daughter Denise.
Charlotte was born in Holyoke, MA to Charles and Anna Aspden. She raised her family in Springfield while working for the former SIS Bank.
She had a gift for gardening, cooking, knitting, and playing the violin in the Old Post Road Orchestra. In her final years, she loved watching golf and game shows with a “dark and DIRTY” or a glass of red wine.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd at 11:00 AM at the Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. An hour of Visitation will be held prior to the Service from 10-11AM at Wilbraham Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Post Road Orchestra. PO Box 683, Wilbraham, MA 01095.
