Charles F. Rososky, Jr., 86, died peacefully on Friday, February 17, 2023. Born in Pontiac, MI to the late Charles Rososky, Sr. and Minnie (Larr) Rososky, he served his country proudly in the US Marine Corps assigned to HMX-1, “Marine One” on the helicopter crew for President Eisenhower. He was a graduate of Worcester State College and worked as a teacher in the Springfield School System for thirty-seven years until his retirement in 1999. Charles was an active member of Foster Memorial Church for over fifty years and sang in the choir. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed his lifelong passion, hunting and fishing. Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife Judith (Maffitt) Rososky in 2022. He is survived by his two devoted sons; Michael Rososky and his wife Kristina of Groton, MA and his granddaughters, Rachael and Michaela; and Russell Rososky and his wife Patricia of Spencer, MA; brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Marianne Rososky of Westboro, MA and his nieces and nephew, Elizabeth, Donna, Pamela and Bruce; and last, but certainly not least, his beloved cat, Greta. Calling hours will be on Saturday, February 25, from 2:00-4:00 pm, followed by a Memorial Service from 4:00-4:30 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday, February 27, at 2:00 pm at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam.
