Charlene R. Carlson

Charlene R. (Hart) Carlson, 76, died peacefully on Monday, April 24, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Springfield to the late Edward and Rosalie (Gaug) Hart. She graduated from East Longmeadow High School in 1964 and was employed by K & M Electronics for over twenty years.
Charlene’s happy place was at her camper at Beaver Pines Campground in Woodstock, CT. There she and her late partner, Wayne Moreau, made new friends and enjoyed many campfires, riding around on their golf cart, playing games, participating in the campground’s potluck dinners, and sharing life stories. She will be greatly missed by her “girls,” Liz and Patty and Patty’s husband Bill who was always there to give her a hand.
Charlene will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Brenda Courtemanche from Arizona, Kimberley Saso from Wilbraham, Terrilee Piepul from Springfield, Jennifer Morrisino from East Longmeadow, her brother Edward Hart and partner Cecile Vincelette; along with grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins.
Family and friends may meet for Charlene’s Graveside Service on Monday, May 1st at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker Street, Springfield, MA 01129. Memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society, P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
