Carol A. Supernant

Carol A. (Penrose) Supernant, 76, died peacefully on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late William and Lela (Thompson) Penrose, she was a lifelong Wilbraham resident. She worked as a cashier at the Stop & Shop Supermarket in Springfield for more than 20 years, until her retirement.

Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband Frederick R. Supernant, Jr. in 2021. She will be sadly missed by her devoted children; Linda Bestor and her husband David of Dracut, MA, Frederick R. Supernant, III and his wife Jennifer of Springfield, her sister Betty Dowling of SC, five cherished grandchildren; Nicky, Ryan, DJ, Jake and Sara, as well as 3 great grandchildren, Kylee, Bellamy, and Lindsey. She was also be dearly missed by her best friend Paulette Stromwall. Carol’s Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
