Carol J. Labroad

Carol J. (Hall) LaBroad, 83, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at home. She was born in Waterbury, CT to the late Clifford and Jane (Stoddard) Hall. Carol worked as a hairdresser for many years. She then worked as a Bank Teller at Ludlow Savings Bank for 13 years, until her retirement. To sum up our mom, she was our "little firecracker." In addition to her parents, Carol was also predeceased by her husband Albert J. LaBroad and her brother Thomas Hall. She is survived by her three devoted children; Albert J. LaBroad, Jr. of SC, Tamra Jean Stevens of Brookfield, MA and Elizabeth Ethier and her husband Dean of Wilbraham, MA, brothers; Clifford Hall, Jr., Dexter and Gregory Hall, sisters; Judith Hall and Debra Johnson, six grandchildren; Danyell Giguere (Andrew), Jennifer and Joshua LaBroad, Michelle Kendall (Michael), Erin Ethier and Nicole Worrell (Chris) and seven great grandchildren. Carol’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 12:00 Noon at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Committal will follow at 2:00 PM in MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
