Carol A. Eaton

Carol Ann (Pease) Eaton, of Brimfield and formerly of Wilbraham passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham, with her husband of 62 years by her side. Carol was born on June 22, 1942 in Springfield to the late Edward R. Pease, Jr. and Clara (Porteri) Pease Elkas. Carol attended Russell Sage College in Troy, NY and graduated from Bay Path College in Longmeadow, MA. She married Frank E. Eaton, Jr. in 1962. Carol worked for the Town of Wilbraham in the Assessor’s Office for 26 years. Frank and Carol belonged to the Site Seekers Chapter 51 of the North American Family Campers Assn. They traveled throughout the US and Canada with their son Neil and shared many vacations to Disney World. In addition to her parents, Carol was also predeceased by her step father Harold Elkas and her son Neil Edward Eaton. She leaves her husband Frank E. Eaton, Jr., her sister Deborah Day O’Neil, nephews Matthew and Sean O’Neil and their families, as well as several cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham for their compassionate care and support. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
