Carol E. Aurnhammer

Carol E. (Isyk) Aurnhammer, 78, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Born in Waterbury, CT to the late Frank P. and Sarah (Forgie) Isyk, she graduated from Francis T. Maloney High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from Central Connecticut State College with a teaching degree. In June of 1965, Carol married Frederick F. Aurnhammer and moved to Ludlow, MA. A faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Parish, Carol was a teacher at Cathedral High School for 35 years, retiring as Head of the Business Dept. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frederick Aurnhammer. She is survived by her two children; F. Scott Aurnhammer of Springfield and Elizabeth A. Guthrie and her husband David of Longmeadow, cherished grandsons; Nathan and Nicholas Guthrie, sibling; Cheryl I. Mik and her husband Charles, niece and nephews Catherine Landry (Ben), Thomas Mik (Gina)and Stephen Mik. Carol’s Funeral Services will be held privately for the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of the arrangements.
