Obituary

Camron Montgomery Gray, 36 passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 6, 2026. He was born in Coral Springs, Florida, on April 11, 1990, and lived the majority of his life in Hampden, East Longmeadow, and Wilbraham, Massachusetts.

Camron was a graduate of Minnechaug Reginal High School. He was a hardworking and versatile man who spent his working years in a variety of trades, including house renovations, flipping houses, landscaping, and environmental contracting. He was someone who was never afraid to work hard and get his hands dirty.

Camron had a huge heart and was one of those special people who genuinely cared about others. He would do anything for the people he loved, and his family and friends knew they could always count on him. He was especially close to his brothers and treasured the time he spent with his family.

Camron loved golf, hiking, fantasy football leagues, and spending time with his beloved dog Blaise. But what people will remember the most was his wonderful sense of humor. Camron had a special knack for ball-busting and could make the people around him laugh with his quick wit and playful spirit. He was a gentle giant with a kind soul, a great big heart, and a smile that could light up the room.

Camron’s life was far too short, but the laughter and memories he gave to those around him will last forever. We will miss his smile, his laughter, his humor, and the special way he made everyone feel.

Camron was called home, where he will reunite with his beloved older brother, Gavin, who passed away in 2024. We find comfort in knowing that the brothers are together again.

Camron will remain forever in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. God has a special place in Heaven for his kind, loving, and funny soul. Until we meet again, Camron. You are deeply loved and will be missed more than words ever express.

He leaves behind his beloved parents Nicole (Betsy) Plotts Gray of Hampden, MA, Jerry and Laurie Gray of Enfield, CT, his wife Lena Ciborowski Gray of Hampden, MA, his loving brothers Derek Gray of Hampden, MA and Dylan Gray of Pensacola, FL, and his partner Nora Trotman and their daughter Azella. He also leaves his loving dog Blaise.

Cam also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 20th from 3-5 PM, concluding with a Memorial Service at 5 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA or online at www.dakinhumane.org.
