Obituary
Bruce R. Jobson, 86, died peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Andrew and Mavis (Groskopf) Jobson. He graduated from Mepham High School in Bellmore, Long Island and the College of Aeronautics in LaGuardia, NY. He was the Superintendent of Maintenance for American Airlines at JFK and LaGuardia Airports for twenty years. He relocated his family from Long Island to Wilbraham to work for Package Machinery where he was the Service Manager for many years.  He was a longtime member and deacon of Grace Union Church and a Mason for a number of years. He loved boating on his boat the Five J’s and fishing on the Long Island Sound with family and friends. Bruce was known to be able to fix anything. He enjoyed organizing his workshop, and riding his lawn mower. But what was most important to Bruce, was spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Marlene (Davison) Jobson, his loving children; Shelley Russell and her husband Bob of Wilbraham, Donna Rodrigues and her husband Alan of El  Dorado Hills, CA,  Glenn Jobson and his wife Sallie of  Wilbraham, his caring brothers; Ronald and his wife Maureen of NJ, Barry and his wife Joyce of ME, and his sister–in-law Lois Krimsier and her  husband Bob of Florida, nine cherished grandchildren, five adored great grandchildren and five nieces and three nephews. Bruce’s Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 30th at 11:00 at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Calling hours will precede the Service from 9:00 to 11:00 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions in Bruce’s name may be made to Grace Union Church, 10 Chapel Street, Wilbraham, MA 01095.
