Betty (Froese) Moon

Longtime Wilbraham resident, Betty (Froese) Moon, 80, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, surrounded by her family, at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Kirkella, Manitoba, Canada to the late Peter and Agnes (Sawatzky) Froese. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Manitoba and taught high school in Winnipeg, Canada before moving to Wilbraham where she worked as a substitute teacher throughout Western MA. Betty was an active member of St. Cecilia�s Church. She is survived by her husband Paul R. Moon, son Peter Moon of FL, daughter Susan Moon and her husband Andy Cubriel of TX, two brothers Jake and Peter Froese, both of Ontario, Canada and two grandchildren; Andrew and Elizabeth Cubriel. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 � 5:00 pm at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Funeral Monday at 9:00 am from Wilbraham Funeral Home to Betty�s Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Cecilia�s Church. Burial will follow in Adams Cemetery.
