Obituary
Bernice M. (Douglas) Vautrain, 92, died peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow. Born in Springfield to the late Albert and Rena (Larro) Douglas, she was a longtime resident of Hampden. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Armand Vautrain. Bernice is survived by her son Raymond A. Vautrain and his wife Carmella, two daughters Lisa Vautrain and her partner Robert Jennings and Nancy Rollings, Grandchildren: Katharine Champagne, Daniel Vautrain, Ronald Rollings, Meagan Ashe and Jeremy Garner, Great Grandchildren: Preston and Rachael Beckwith, Raymond Champagne and Timothy and Lacie Garner and Great Great Grandchildren: Charlotte, Mason and Willow Beckwith. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Bernice’s Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 AM from Wilbraham Funeral Home to a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Cecilia’s Church, 42 Main St., Wilbraham. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.
