Barbara M. Leclair

Barbara M. (Hogan) LeClair, 88, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center. A lifelong Springfield resident, she was the daughter of the late William and Geraldine (Edmunds) Hogan. She worked in the Accounting Department at Verizon for many years until her retirement. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband Donald LeClair of Springfield, three devoted children; Timothy LeClair and his wife Nancy of Ft. Myers, FL, Donnamarie Pohner of Chicopee and Robert LeClair of Springfield, cherished grandchildren; Timothy, Laurel, Samantha, Alex, Brendon and Alexa and great grandchildren; Ciara, Nicholas, Nicole, Shane, Becca and Nicholas. In addition to her parents, Barbara was also predeceased by her eight siblings, granddaughter Katie LeClair, and her son John LeClair. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and a good cup of tea from one of her many teapots, country stores, the Red Lion Inn and her favorite Elvis songs. Barbara’s Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 11:00 AM in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, 895 Parker St., Springfield. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), 199 Water St., 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038, or online at www.AFSP.org .
