Obituary
Barbara “Mitzie” Cawley, 93, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born in Springfield to the late Wallace and Pearl (Knox) Metcalf, she was a longtime East Longmeadow resident. She worked in the Clerical department of the former Monarch Life Insurance Co. for 21 years until her retirement. Mitzie was a faithful member of First Congregational Church of East Longmeadow. She is survived by her son David Radebaugh and his wife Dianne, daughter Nancy Caldwell, brother Robert Metcalf, five grandchildren: Laura Helms, Kate and Kevin Sypek, Alec and Jackie Caldwell, Alissa and Edward Santee and Erica Radebaugh and 3 great granddaughters: Zoe, Emma and Everly. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by the father of her children: David Radebaugh, her husband: Raymond Cawley and her son Paul Radebaugh. A private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
