Obituary
Longtime Wilbraham resident Arthur W. Jahn, 91, died peacefully on Tuesday morning, November 8, 2022 at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Springfield to the late William M. and Lillian (Roos) Jahn, he was a proud Marine Corps. Veteran of the Korean War. He was a Metallurgist and Vice President of the Jahn Foundry Corp. retiring after 46 years of service. Art leaves his devoted wife of 59 years, Carol (Leroux) Jahn, their two sons; Stephen Jahn of Wilbraham and William Jahn and his beloved Lori Robbins of Monson and his dear niece Norma Silloway and her loving husband David of Ware. All Art’s beloved siblings and their spouses have passed including our dearest friends except for Meredith Watson of Hampden. He also leaves a dear sister in law Terry Pippin and beloved husband Stuart of St. Petersburg, FL. Art’s Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104 or to the Hampden Senior Center, 104 Allen St., Hampden, MA 01036.
