Anne V. ( Sullivan) Broderick, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 21, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, she was one of six children of the late Hugh and Mary (Cahill) Sullivan. She was a volunteer Red Cross nurse during World War II and attended Northeastern University�s Springfield branch in the evenings. Anne worked as an accountant for Leo Speight Builders and other local businesses for many years. A longtime communicant of St. Michael�s Church, she volunteered for over 20 years as the church accountant and was a member of its Women�s Club. She was also a founder of the East Longmeadow Scholarship Fund and its treasurer for 15 years. Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband William Broderick in 1984. She leaves her three children; Michael Broderick of Washington, DC, Timothy Broderick of West Hartford, CT and Joanne Broderick of Alexandria, VA and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may meet for Anne�s Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 26th at 11:00 am at St. Michael�s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow. Burial will be private. Anne�s family will receive friends in the Michaelmas Room of the church prior to the Mass on Saturday from 9:30 � 10:45 am. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
