Anna Jasmin

Anna Jasmin, 108 years old, crossed over to the other side, peacefully, on
March 5, 2023. Many of her family members have gone before her, as she was one of 14 children. Her two brothers, John Fisher of Westfield and Raymond Fisher of Buzzards Bay, have taken care of her over her long journey. Anna had so many stories of her life to share with anyone who stopped by to visit. She was older than the Queen of England, saw the first light bulb come into her home when she was very young, and had to run to catch the ice wagon for ice. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, singing, and an occasional trip to the casino for a little Bingo. Anna traveled for 10 years with her dear friend Helen, whom she spoke about even on the last week she was with us, of what a dear friend she was. Anna was always looking to help someone or lend a listening ear of comfort. She drove till she was 102. Anna would tell you, if you want to get ahead, save a little something from every paycheck. Anna bought her home in the 50’s and paid it off, 50 cents a week. Anna always had a kind word, and a great homemade piece of apple pie. She once ate an apple off the tree, without picking it, because her mother said she could not pick the apples off the tree. She was a truly remarkable human being. God speed Annie, your family will miss you. A Service will be held in the Spring. Wilbraham Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
