Obituary
Ann Marie Dansereau of Wilbraham, Massachusetts passed away at the age of 80 on Sept 29, 2022 after a courageous two year battle with leukemia. She was born to the late Arthur and Grace Horton on August 29, 1942 in Boston, Massachusetts. Ann graduated from Roslindale High School in 1960 and worked in the insurance industry for over thirty years. Ann remained active in the community during her retirement as a volunteer docent at the Springfield Museums.
Ann will be remembered as a loving, generous and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by her beloved husband Walter Dansereau of 20 years, children Karl Zinnack Jr., Kimberly Zinnack, Kurt Zinnack, brother William G. Horton, stepdaughters Lynn Murray and Beth Reed, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Ann’s life will take place at the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts 21 Edwards St, Springfield, MA 01103 on November 28, 2022 from 1pm – 4pm for all those who wish to attend. Ann's interment will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Baystate Health Foundation: Regional Cancer Program. A more detailed notice can be found at www.wilbrahamfuneralhome.com
