Andrew Michael (Bonavita) Bonavita

Andrew Michael Bonavita, 93, died peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2016, at Orchard Valley of Wilbraham. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Miguel and Margaret (Russo) Bonavita. He was a proud Army Veteran of World War II and received the Good Conduct Medal for his service. A graduate of Classical High School, he worked as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. until his retirement in 1976. He leaves his beloved wife Jacquelyn (Monaco) Bonavita, his daughter Andrea Noonan of Hampden, brother Nicholas Tricco of Florida, two grandchildren; Ryan Noonan and his wife Karyn of Warren, RI and Brendan Noonan and his fianc� Jamie Collins of Somerville, MA and two great grandchildren Sydney and Vivienne Noonan. Andrew was predeceased by his son Michael Bonavita in 1993 and his siblings Victor and Lucy Bonavita. A private Funeral Service will be held at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham, followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one�s choice.
