Albert F. Jones

Albert Franklin Jones, 87, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Enfield, CT. Born in Stafford, CT, he was son of the late Franklin and Frances (Bandoski) Jones. Albert served his country proudly in the Army National Guard. A gifted mason, he owned and operated Al’s Masonry for over 30 years. Albert also served in the Hampden Volunteer Fire Department for more than three decades. In his free time, Albert liked to read and learn about history, and he enjoyed hiking up mountains near and far. He loved to ride snowmobiles and take his model A up the mountain and cut wood for the winter. An avid storyteller, and a friend to so many, Albert loved to host large Memorial Day barbecues at his camp each year, right behind the home he single-handedly built to raise his family. In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Judith (Lunden) Jones, and his son Steven A. Jones. He will be greatly missed by his son Jeffrey W. Jones, his wife Muriel, and his granddaughter Léa, all of Stow, MA. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Wilbraham Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
