Theresa Mary Josephine (Piazzo) Foley, 96, of Longmeadow passed from this life on July 13, 2019. Theresa, born on February 23, 1923, was the daughter of Casimiro and Mary Piazzo of Turin, Italy and the sister of Reno (Mona) Piazzo and the late Robert (Connie) Piazzo. Theresa had an accomplished career as an Assistant to the founder of the Brimfield Flea Markets; the first woman Town Accountant in Monson; Certified Nutritionist and Real Estate Agent. Upon retirement, just shy of 80 years old, she continued her passion for reading, education, music and the arts. Theresa leaves her three daughters, Bernadette (James) Hunicke of Niantic, CT; Kathrine (Rick) Malmborg and Mary (Thomas) Sherry, both of East Longmeadow, and a stepson William (Pam) Foley of New York. In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren, Tony and Ted Rahaim, Randy Hunicke and Beth Hunicke-Smith, Adam Malmborg and Lindsay Linnehan, and Sarah and Patrick Sherry, as well as eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Theresa was predeceased by her first husband, Stevenson Jacobs, and was the widow of the late William J. Foley.
All funeral services were private. There will be a Celebration of Life Mass on Saturday, August 3rd, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow.
