Judy Ann (Hiller) Del Negro, 65, loving mother and devoted wife, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 4, 2019.
Born on June 21, 1954 in Springfield to Dave and Lois (Keane) Hiller, she was a lifetime East Longmeadow resident. She graduated from East Longmeadow High School in 1972. She married Andrew Del Negro on May 1, 1976. From a young age Judy enjoyed playing piano and softball . She was a very kind woman. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always there for them. Judy always had a love of animals and was especially found of the wildlife she saw in her yard. You could always count on having a cat by her side. She donated funds to the Humane Society. At home, you could always find her watching reruns of Friends or catching a New York Yankees game. Despite facing health setbacks, she was willing to bring a smile to other people’s faces with her funny and spunky personality. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Andrew Del Negro, and her son, Matthew Del Negro, both of East Longmeadow, MA; and her daughter, Tammy Sheehan and her husband Chris, of Middletown, CT; and her brother Dave Hiller of Wilbraham, MA. Judy was predeceased by her sister, Susan McCormack and her husband, James McCormack of East Longmeadow, MA; and her parents, Dave and Lois (Keane) Hiller, also of East Longmeadow, MA. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 8 at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Road, Wilbraham, MA. Judy’s funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at East Longmeadow United Methodist Church, 215 Somers Road, East Longmeadow. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Longmeadow United Methodist Church, 215 Somers Road, East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
